    Slugs love the fresh leaves of your dahlia plants. Copper tape can help guide slugs and ants away from your garden.

    Stick a strip of copper tape around the edge of a pot or container, or around a ring placed around a small plant. When slugs crawl over it, they get a little shock and will take a different path.

    Ants dislike the smell of copper, which disrupts their scent trails.

    This roll of tape is 5 meters long and 3 cm wide. You can cut it to size with scissors.

    Make sure the surface is dry and clean for the copper tape to stick best.
