White tulips are elegant and truly stunning. One of our favorites is the snow-white tulip ‘Noordeinde’ with its beautifully fringed petals. This late spring bloomer brings a fresh touch to your garden and is like a sweet dessert to round off the season. These white tulips immediately catch the eye and admiration, making them perfect for adding something special to the back of a border. White is often seen as the color of perfection and is associated with light, goodness, and purity (think of brides wearing white on their wedding day). It’s the only color that doesn’t stimulate our senses, but instead creates space for new ideas, just like how every painter starts with a blank white canvas.

White flowers are always in demand. Our white dahlias and white daffodils are among the most loved in our collection. The double-flowered daffodil ‘Bridal Crown’ with its fresh white hue, and the dahlia ‘Café au Lait’ are by far the favorites among our customers.

The meaning of White Tulips

White tulips symbolize forgiveness. They’re the perfect flower to give when you want to say “I’m sorry” or offer someone your forgiveness. Of course, they’re also simply beautiful. After a long winter, we all long for spring. The pleasant temperatures and first rays of sun bring that wonderful spring feeling—and tulips are the finishing touch. All our tulip bulbs are grown right here at our farm in Lisse, and we only ship large-sized bulbs so you can expect full, lush blooms.

Different Tulip Varieties

We currently offer one white tulip: ‘Noordeinde’. This variety features fringed petals and a crisp, fresh color. Besides white tulips, we also have tulips in other colors like red, pink, orange, yellow, and even black! Within each color you’ll find single and double tulips, bi-colored varieties, and fringed tulips.

Ordering white tulip bulbs

You can order tulip bulbs from 1 July until early December. Our tulip bulbs are grown at our own farm near Lisse. Ordering from FAM Flower Farm is easy. Your bulbs will be delivered right to your door just in time for planting, between October and 15 December. Planting later than that might prevent proper root development. They will bloom in spring, typically between April and May, though that can vary depending on the season.

Can you grow tulips bulbs in pots?

Absolutely! Certain bulbs also do very well in pots. Be sure to plant plenty of them, as tulips are suitable as cut flowers. You can cut off some flowers so you can enjoy them in your home as well.
